31 Size Inclusive Indie Designers to Know from Me Made May

Me Made May has historically been a month long celebration on Instagram of our handmade wardrobes.

But to be honest, posting for 31 days straight is a big task that isn’t sustainable for most people. In fact, it can bring up a lot of bad feelings that I’ve experienced first hand.

Last Me Made May, I shared a reel about how the challenge made me feel. You can see it in my face. The sadness, the self doubt. I didn’t feel like my handmade closet was good enough. You can watch that reel here.

So this year, I wanted to do things differently.

I wanted to shift the focus from FOMO to inspiration.

But more importantly? I wanted to create my own series to uplift size inclusive indie patternmakers, and connect sewists with designers they might not have otherwise discovered.

Whether you’re here for inspiration, representation, or your next favorite pattern, I hope this roundup helps you feel seen, supported, and excited to keep creating ❤️‍🔥

Below these photos is the full list of designers that I featured in my Me Made May series. Each includes a link to the spotlight reel so you can connect with the designer on Instagram, and a link to explore or shop the pattern directly.
